Students will analyze and diagnose complex business and financial problems by applying principles of financial innovation alongside proficiency in coding, data analytics, and financial technologies. They will design, build, and implement technology enabled solutions that include secure data processes, automated workflows, and algorithmic tools that demonstrably improve the security, speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency of financial services in real world organizational contexts.

Students will leverage emerging financial technologies to expand equitable access to financial services and evaluate how specific technological approaches address authentic financial challenges such as risk management, fraud prevention, market inefficiencies, and customer inclusion. They will critically assess the effectiveness, limitations, ethical considerations, and broader economic impacts of technology based financial solutions, demonstrating the ability to communicate evidence based recommendations for their adoption or refinement.
