Program Description
The Department of Family and Consumer Studies (FCS) emphasizes an interdisciplinary focus on the social, economic, and physical wellbeing of families and individuals within the context of communities and government policy environments.
Both graduate and undergraduate programs emphasize core principles essential to theory, empirical research, and policy implementation. Students are strongly encouraged to consult with department advisors early on to assist in planning their academic programs.
