Human Genetics

Students are required to do assigned course work, complete at least three years of independent laboratory research beyond the bachelor's degree, take preliminary written and oral examinations, and submit a written dissertation defended through an oral examination. Course work is specified by the student's supervisory committee and relates to the dissertation subject.
