Amidst the rising prominence of artificial intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT and MidJourney, it is imperative now more than ever for business students to augment their primary major with vital AI knowledge and skills, significantly enhancing their future career opportunities. The pervasive integration of AI across diverse industries necessitates a burgeoning demand for professionals adept in the strategic deployment of AI technologies within business contexts. The proposed AI Business Minor aims to cultivate a business student’s profound understanding of AI applications, a skill set that is escalating in importance as AI perpetually reshapes numerous facets of the business realm.

Upon completing the AI Business Minor, students will be armed with the essential skills to weave AI technologies into business processes, encompassing data analysis, constructing predictive models, and task automation to boost personalization and customer engagement. Moreover, the Minor imparts knowledge on executing natural language processing and sentiment analysis techniques, which are crucial for comprehending and utilizing textual data in a business context.
