Program Description
The Mathematics major provides a rigorous foundation in the principles of mathematical reasoning, analysis, and quantitative problem solving. Students develop skills in abstraction, logical deduction, and the formulation and solution of complex problems. The program prepares students for a broad range of careers as well as for advanced study in mathematics and related fields.
