Program Graduation Requirements
Students must complete the master requirements with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
All classes must be completed with a B- or better.
Simple Requirements
Complete ALL of the following Courses:
Earn at least 2 credits from the following:
Earn at least 14 credits from the following:
Earn at least 21 credits
Complete approved electives to meet minimum program requirements.
Students entering the doctoral program without an accredited Master of Public Health (MPH) or Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) will be required to complete, with the minimum grade of B- , the coursework covering the five core areas identified by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). Credits earned from taking these courses will not be counted as part of the required credits for the PhD degree. Students can complete these courses while completing other PhD courses.
