Students who hold a valid Utah teaching license in Special Education may not need to complete the following courses. Check with your faculty advisor.
SP ED6860: take each semester to fulfill ABA Practicum (1, 2, 3, etc.)
SP ED XXXX: Behavioral Theory and Philosophy
SP ED XXXX: Experiential Learning 1 & Experiential Learning 2
Choose at least 9 additional elective hours.
Selected with Advisor Approval and may include coursework in pedagogy, exercise physiology, therapeutic recreation, special education, recreation therapy

May possibly be concurrent with SP ED 6390 and/or SP ED 6400 if all coursework is complete.
SP ED6390: Student Teaching - Early Intervention
May possibly be concurrent with SP ED 6700 if all coursework is complete.
SP ED6400: Student Teaching Preschool
May possibly be concurrent with SP ED 6700 if all coursework is complete.
SP ED6800: Student Teaching - Students Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Birth-5)
May possibly be concurrent with SP ED 6390 and/or 6400 if all coursework is complete.
ED PS6312: Reading Methods I - K-6 (Upper Division Communication/Writing Requirement)
May be taken after or concurrently with EDU 6314 OR EDU 6316
