  • Must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA

Undergraduate Degree Requirements and Honors Option

Simple Requirements

Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
Complete ALL of the following Courses:
AND

Upper-division statistics course that satisfies the QI requirement.

Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:
AND

Complete at least 9 hours in allied subjects. Three allied credit hours from each of the following areas are required to comply with American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) standards for certification:

  • 3 credit hours of biological science (Biology)

  • 3 credit hours of a physical science (Physics or Chemistry)

  • 3 credit hours of social or behavioral science (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, Gender Studies)

Earn at least 9 credits

Allied courses may also be used to fulfill university general education requirements.

AND
Students must also complete 25 clock-hours of guided observation of speech, language, and/or hearing evaluation or treatment before graduation.

Complete at least 3 of the following Courses:
