An emphasis is required for the program:
Students may earn two emphases:
Honors students should enroll in THEA 3725 or 3735, which meet with THEA 3720 and 3730, respectively.
Choose the appropriate class for your declared emphasis
Choose two of three technical theatre courses.
See sample four-year plans of study for guidance on when to enroll in each required class.
Students should complete a minimum of 5 semesters.
Students will need to take courses more than once in order to fulfill the requirement.
All production assignments are made by the stage management area head. Speak to your instructor about the number of credit hours that best fit your production assignment.
Additional THEA 4950’s may be taken in place of 3912/4912’s upon instructor approval.
Internship assignments must be approved by your stage management area head before you can register for this course.

Students must complete each of the following courses multiple times:
THEA 2652: MTP Performance Workshop I x 2 (total of 2 CR)
THEA 3652: MTP Performance Workshop II x 2 (total of 2 CR)
THEA 4652: MTP Performance Workshop III x 4 (total of 4 CR)
THEA 2201 counts for 1 of the 2 required Theatre History courses in the Theatre Core Requirements.
