Master the structural and sociolinguistic features of at least one foreign language

Develop second language courses and curricula that connect meaningful content to language development, and enable students to communicative effectively in a second language

Develop strategies to become a life-long language learner and be an active member of professional communities and networks

Achieve no less than Advanced Mid level of proficiency in the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) in at least one foreign language
