Simple Requirements
Students pursuing the Film & Media Arts BA without an emphasis must complete 39 Film elective credit hours within the major.
For students completing an emphasis, the number of required elective credits varies by emphasis as follows:
Animation Emphasis: minimum of 3-5 elective credits
Film Production Emphasis: minimum of 13-17 elective credits
The Department of Film & Media Arts offers the option for interested students to learn the necessary in-depth knowledge of film in order to be a Kindergarten - Twelfth Grade film and media arts educator in the public school system.
