Interpret the repertory in their applied performance area and perform a cross-section of that repertory with a success rate of a “C” or better.

Demonstrate competency with the elements of music including rhythm, melody, harmony, structure, through analytic listening, sight-singing, aural dictation, and playing piano with a success rate of a “C” or better.

Solve musical problems by combining knowledge and skills in performance; aural, verbal, and visual analysis; composition/improvisation; and history and repertory in compositional, performance, analytical, scholarly, and pedagogical applications with a success rate of a “C” or better.
