Program Graduation Requirements

Coordinated Master’s Program in Nutrition and Dietetics

Students will need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for graduation:

  1. Complete all degree related courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  2. Possess no individual course grade below a C-

  3. Successfully pass all clinical experiences and internship, as determined by their clinical preceptor

Master's Degree in Nutrition and Integrative Physiology

Students will need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for graduation:

  1. Present/defend a research proposal

  2. Prepare a written thesis followed by oral defense of thesis

Students may earn two emphases:

Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
Complete ALL of the following Courses:
AND

Work with program advisor and committee to determine approved elective courses.

Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:
AND
Thesis: Minimum 6.0 credits of NUIP 6970 Non-Thesis (Focused Area of Study): Department required credits from NUIP 6900 and NUIP 6940 Work with program advisor and committee to determine approved courses.

Enroll in thesis or non-thesis credits depending on program of study.

AND

Work with program advisor and committee to determine approved courses.
